Dozens of former Trump officials including John Kelley and Stephanie Grisham are formulating plans to thwart their former boss in 2022 and 2024

Around three dozen former Trump officials jumped on a convention name this week to determine how to thwart Trump in 2022 and 2024, in accordance to CNN.

Also on the decision, per CNN, had been former White House staffers Alyssa Farah Griffin and Anthony Scaramucci, former Department of Homeland Security official Elizabeth Neumann, and former Director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency Chris Krebs.

What these people have in frequent seems to be their repudiation of Trump. “We all agreed passionately that letters and statements do not imply something,” Taylor told CNN. “The two operative phrases are ‘electoral results.’ How can we’ve got tangible electoral results towards the extremist candidates which were endorsed by Trump?”

Taylor, notably, was revealed to be the creator of a scathing 2018 New York Times op-ed titled “I Am Part of the Resistance Inside the Trump Administration.”

Former White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham, who first revealed the existence of the group, was not on the decision as a result of of a COVID-19 an infection however advised CNN that she was nonetheless engaged with the group. The group — which has not released its name or published a list of members — is among several GOP-linked organizations that have expressed opposition to Trump. Trump has not yet announced a presidential run and said in November that he will “in all probability” wait till after the midterm elections to verify if he’ll make a presidential bid in 2024.
