Former Uttarakhand Congress chief Kishore Upadhyay expelled from party, joins BJP

Former Uttarakhand Congress president Kishore Upadhyay at the moment formally joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. Earlier Congres expelled him from the celebration for six years for anti-party actions.

Upadhyay was earlier eliminated from all celebration positions as a disciplinary motion after he met BJP leaders, together with the celebration’s election in-charge for Uttarakhand Pralhad Joshi.

Speculation is rife that the saffron celebration is making ready to area him from the Tehri Assembly seat which he had gained in 2002 and 2007.

“I have joined BJP with the spirit of taking Uttarakhand forward. You should ask Congress why such a situation has risen,” Kishor Upadhyay stated after becoming a member of BJP in Dehradun.

Assembly polls in Uttarakhand will probably be held on February 14.
